Despite the challenges faced by Barcelona this season, including inconsistent performances and setbacks in various competitions, the standout highlight remains the emergence of numerous talented youngsters from La Masia.

Famously reputed for producing some of Europe’s most gifted players, the academy appears to be peaking once more.

The likes of Pau Cubarsi, Lamine Yamal, Fermin Lopez, and Hector Fort have all made a solid impression over the course of the campaign.

And the youngsters most recently took centre stage in Barça’s dominant 3-1 win against Napoli in the Champions League round of 16.

Hector Fort praises his teammate

While Barcelona boasts an abundance of talent, Lamine Yamal arguably possesses the most freakish abilities amongst his age-mates.

Now, waxing lyrical about his partner in crime, Hector Fort has publicly recognized Yamal’s unique abilities.

“I enjoy watching Lamine Yamal play, he is very good. What he does is amazing. Prepare yourselves, because if nothing goes wrong, he will be very top,” he boldly declared while speaking to SPORT.

Fort himself has shown tremendous ability in the full-back position and impressed onlookers, most notably in the Copa del Rey clash against Athletic Club, which Barcelona fatefully lost.

However, Yamal appears to be cut from an entirely different cloth, consistently turning heads with his exceptional skill and maturity beyond his years.

With a few months remaining until the season officially concludes, Barcelona still have time to salvage their campaign by bringing home the elusive Champions League trophy for the sixth time.

And if the Catalan giants have any hopes of going all the way in the competition, contributions from the academy graduates and especially Yamal will surely be needed.
