The Minister of State in charge of Government Communications, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, has dismissed rumours that the Presidency has initiated an investigation into former President Nana Akufo-Addo.
In a post on Friday, March 28, Mr. Kwakye Ofosu described these claims as false and urged the public to disregard them.
He clarified that the Presidency has not directed the National Intelligence Bureau (NIB) to investigate the former President’s travels.

His remarks follow reports suggesting that President John Mahama had allegedly instructed the NIB to investigate Akufo-Addo’s official travels during his tenure.
Accra-based Asaase Radio reports that government officials insist the move is part of broader efforts to ensure accountability in the management of state resources.
