President makes appointments to GNPC, BOST, others

President John Dra­mani Mahama over the weekend made a raft of appointments to head various agencies of state as his govern­ment gradually takes shape.

The appointees, in acting ca­pacities, are a bevy of youthful individuals headed to the key institutions.

The appointments are subject to the Advice of the yet-to-be constituted governing boards of the entities in consul­tation with the Public Services Commission.

They are Wisdom Yayra Koku Deku, who heads to the National Identification Author­ity, Godwin Edudzi Tamaklo, National Petroleum Authority and Edward Bawa, Ghana Na­tional Petroleum Corporation.

Others are Professor Nana Ama Klutse, Environmental Protection Agency, Victoria Emefa Hardcastle, Petroleum Commission and Afetsi Awoo­nor, Bulk Oil Transportation and Storage Company.

The rest are Sammy Gyamfi, Precious Minerals Marketing Company, Mohammed Abdul Salam, National Lottery Au­thority and Dr Kwaku Asiedu Nketia, Deputy Chief Execu­tive Officer, Minerals Income Investment Fund.
