Prince Harry offered a peek into his Montecito, Calif., mansion Thursday night while chatting with the recipients of the Diana Legacy Award.
The video conversation occurred after the Duke of Sussex’s estranged brother, Prince William, exited the event, which the Prince of Wales had attended in person in London.
Harry dialed in from a cozy, expansive room that included a stone fireplace, stacks of books, a row of cowboy hats hung on a wall and a wood-paneled ceiling.

Harry went on to thank the recipients for “inspiring so many others” and “protecting my mother’s legacy” with their humanitarian work, referring to the late Princess Diana.
“Enjoy the rest of your evening, if that’s what you plan to do,” he added. “Don’t get into too much trouble if you’re continuing to go on.”
The prince opted out of attending the event in his native England weeks after losing a bid for taxpayer-funded UK security protection for his family.

William, meanwhile, helped hand out 20 awards earlier Thursday at the Science Museum in London.
“This evening’s Legacy Award is particularly special as it marks the 25th anniversary year of the Diana Award, a charity set up to reflect my mother’s belief that young people can change the world,” he said in his opening remarks.
“I know that she would have been honored to see a charity in her name doing such inspirational work to uplift young people from all corners of the globe. She taught me that everyone has the potential to give something back; that everyone in need deserves a supporting hand in life.
“That legacy is something that both Catherine and I have sought to focus on through our work, as have the 50,000 young people who have received a Diana Award over the past 25 years,” William, 41, added, referring to his wife, Kate Middleton, who has remained out of the public eye since undergoing abdominal surgery in January.
