Prince William cut a solitary figure at the BAFTAs.
The Prince of Wales was pictured walking the red carpet solo at the 77th BAFTAs at the Royal Festival Hall in London on Sunday as the Princess of Wales continues her recovery from abdominal surgery.
William, 41, who has been the president of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts since 2010, looked dapper in a navy velvet tuxedo jacket with black lapels, black trousers and a white shirt.

Bradley Cooper, Margot Robbie, Naomi Campbell, Emily Blunt, Cate Blanchett and Emma Stone were all in attendance.
On Friday, Kensington Palace confirmed the royal’s attendance at the event.

“The Prince, President of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) will watch the Awards ceremony before meeting category winners and EE Rising Star Award nominees,” the statement said.
The annual ceremony is regularly attended by the royal couple.
Last year, Middelton wore a white Alexander McQueen dress and was caught giving her husband a playful little pat on the tush.

William’s appearance on the red carpet comes after he took a week off royal duties to look after his wife and their three children — Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 8, and Prince Louis, 5 — during their school vacation.

“Ted Lasso” star Hannah Waddingham sang along with Sophie Ellis-Bextor, who performed her hit “Murder on the Dancefloor” from the movie “Saltburn.”
