Prince William is continuing his tour of South Africa ahead of his Earthshot Prize ceremony later tonight. On Wednesday (November 6), the Prince of Wales visited the Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden in Cape Town, South Africa to meet with the finalists for the prize. If you don’t know, the award gives 5 finalists £1 million to help with the best innovations that will help the planet. Ahead of his Earthshot Prize awards later tonight, he did an interview where he was asked how his wife Princess Catherine of Wales is doing. She had been battling cancer this year, and recently completed chemotherapy treatments. “She’s doing really well thanks. And hopefully, she is watching tonight. So cheering me on,” he shared. “She’s been amazing this whole this whole year. I know she will be really keen to see tonight be a success.”
