Prince William has revealed the reason why he skipped attending the 2024 Paris Olympics this summer. Since Paris is such a short trip from the UK, many were wondering if the future King – and perhaps his wife Princess Catherine – would attend. Keep reading to find out more… During a royal visit with some British Olympians today, he was asked by swimmer Tom Dean, “Did you manage to get out [to Paris]?” “No, I was so keen to come, but I have to say after reading someone’s interview about COVID I decided, because my wife was obviously having chemo, that I didn’t want to risk bringing COVID home,” the Prince reportedly responded. “But we watched the whole thing. We were glued to it every day.” The Prince and Princess are parents to Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 6. While they weren’t there in person, the royal couple DID celebrate the UK Olympians at home.
