Private Party wants a seat at the table.

Private Party’s Isiah Kassidy and Marq Quen spoke with WrestleZone Managing Editor Bill Pritchard ahead of their AEW World Tag Team title match at AEW WrestleDream. The duo was asked if there was something they wanted people to talk more in terms of their AEW careers.

Zay began by pointing out that the “new generation” of talent in AEW is waiting in the wings. Showing off his t-shirt with Daniel Garcia’s face on it, he said Private Party’s win on Saturday will mark the start of that change in AEW for names like Garcia and themselves.

Private Party says it’s time for the new generation to step in

Isiah Kassidy: “That’s a perfect question, and let me tell you why it’s a perfect question. Starting with this match, shit is about to change. When we beat the Bucks, there’s a whole new change coming. I’m tired of seeing the Bucks take control, it’s time for the new generation to step in. And that’s what we’re going to do. We’re going to lead the charge this Saturday at WrestleDream when we beat the Young Bucks.

“Look at my t-shirt. That’s my boy, DG. Shout out to my boy. He’s going to lead the charge too with whatever championship he decides to win. You heard him on Wednesday, he’s here for championships just like we are. And now it’s the new generation taking over. The Young Bucks don’t love AEW, they already got paid. They’re made, they’re laid back and they’re content. And that’s ok because they did a lot and they deserve to be content. But now, we trying to eat too. We trying to be millionaires.

Marq Quen: “I’m starving.”

Isiah Kassidy: “We’re starving. And that means we have to beat the Young Bucks for the AEW Tag Team Championship by any means necessary. We will do that this Saturday because a new generation is taking over.”

AEW WrestleDream takes place on Saturday, October 12.
