About the lawsuit filed by Priyanka Chopra-Nick Jonas
A Page Six report stated that Priyanka and Nick moved out of their Los Angeles abode after it became “virtually unlivable”. A lawsuit was filed in May 2023 mentioning that the pool and spa area of the couple’s LA home started facing issues like ‘porous waterproofing’ after the purchase that led to “fostered mold contamination and related issues.” The complaint also said that around the same time, there was another water leak in the barbecue area on the deck after which it became “virtually unlivable” and “dangerous from a health perspective to occupy.”

Reportedly, the lawsuit further states, “This has resulted in substantial and significant damage along with a failure of consideration which requires that the purchase and sale be rescinded. In the alternative, plaintiff should be reimbursed for all costs of repair, plus compensation for the loss of use and other damages caused by defendants’ conduct.” The report suggests that the cost of repairing the property will exceed $1.5 million, and could go up to $2.5 million (approx Rs 13 to 20 crores).
Meanwhile, Priyanka, Nick, and their daughter Malti Marie have moved into another property until their LA home is repaired. The couple is currently traveling for their work. Nick was recently in India with his band, Jonas Brothers, as they performed here for the first time. While Priyanka is working on her upcoming movies- Heads of State and Jee Le Zaraa.
