For the first time in its 24-year legacy, Pro Wrestling NOAH will be introducing a championship for female competitors.
On the second episode of NOAH’s MONDAY MAGIC Autumn, The Great Sakuya and Hyan teamed up against Sadie Gibbs and Jessie Jackson to open the show. As Great Sakuya and Hyan left the ring area following their victory, a video package played on the screen.
The video package revealed the introduction of the GHC Women’s Championship. Ten women will compete for the inaugural title in a Magic Rumble match. The last woman standing in the ring will be crowned the inaugural GHC Women’s Champion. The title match takes place at the upcoming third episode of Pro Wrestling NOAH’s MONDAY MAGIC Autumn show on November 11.
Women in Pro Wrestling NOAH
Pro Wrestling NOAH is an all-men’s promotion with no formal women’s roster. However, the promotion welcomes female competitors from various promotions to compete at their shows on occasion. At The Great Muta‘s retirement show run by NOAH, eight of the top women in TJPW competed in a tag match at the Tokyo Dome show.
The retirement match of Keiji Muto is coming up next week on Tuesday Feb. 21.
It takes place in the giant venue that fans recognize globally, the Tokyo Dome.

Female wrestlers from Marigold have also competed in NOAH prior to Marigold’s inaugural show. It featured Giulia, Utami Hayashishita, Mai Sakurai, and MIRAI who are some of the promotion’s founding members.
As of the time of writing, no participants in the title match have been revealed. WrestleZone will provide further updates on the crowning of the first-ever GHC Women’s Champion.
