Katy Perry is facing more backlash for her new album, 143. Icelandic songwriter Arnthor Birgisson, who has worked with everyone from Celine Dion to Janet Jackson, spoke out on his now-private Instagram in a post on his Instagram Story, comparing her upcoming song “Nirvana” to the song he composed for Netflix’s Eurovision Song Contest, “Double Trouble.” Fans on social media have been comparing the two songs’ striking similarities since “Nirvana” was first teased from Katy‘s upcoming 143 album, and the producer finally spoke out.
