The capital club does not intend to donate its share of revenue to Orléans at the end of the round of 16 of the Coupe de France.
On Saturday, Paris Saint-Germain will travel to Orléans, at 8:45 p.m., for the round of 16 of the Coupe de France. This meeting should be played behind closed doors.
Indeed, the 7,801 seats put on sale for this match at the Source stadium have been purchased. However, according to information from The Team, the capital club would not intend to leave its share of revenue to its host of the evening. In the previous round, against Revel, the Rouge et Bleu had donated their share of the revenue from the match. A gesture which is more of a custom than a strict rule. Unlike Revel, an amateur football club, Orléans has professional status.

The Collectif Ultras Paris (CUP) announced ” with regret “, through a press release, boycott this round of 16 at the Source stadium. Ile-de-France supporters are protesting against the price of places offered in visitor parking (60 euros), while PSG had offered to finance half of their cost (30 euros per ticket). “Faced with the prohibitive prices put in place by the local club, the boycott appears to us to be the only coherent solution. The supporters are not intended to replenish the coffers of a club with haphazard management (…) It is time to say stop to these prices which deprive the working classes of more and more stadiums”we can read in the press release.
