PSG: Bayern Munich does everything to get rid of Kingsley Coman

Kingsley had an unusual end to the season. For the first time in his career, the winger did not win the championship. Bayern Munich were indeed beaten by a historic Bayer Leverkusen, winner of the Bundesliga without losing a single match. Since his debut at PSG in the 2012/2013 season, Coman had never experienced that, winning two Ligue 1, two Serie A with Juventus, then eight Bundesliga. On top of that, Didier Deschamps hardly trusted him during this Euro (only 15 minutes against the Netherlands).

To make matters worse and as if to better confirm this overall change in status, the 28-year-old player is also becoming an undesirable at the club. After this failed season, the Bavarian giant has decided to radically change things. Unusually for the German club, between the signings of Michael Olise (€55 million), João Palhinha (€51 million) and Hiroki Ito (€23 million), €129 million has already been spent, and it may not be over yet. The downside is that they have to sell to make room and free up wages.

Bayern to accept loan

Present at the club since the summer of 2015, Kingsley Coman has been designated for a while as one of the candidates to leave. Despite good performances, his physical fragility and his regular absences have got the better of his status. Until then, Bayern Munich had set his price at around €60 million but now time is passing and the end of the transfer window is approaching. The lack of offers forces us to review departure plans. According to Sky Sport Germany, the Rekordmeister is lowering its requirements for the player who is still under contract until 2027.

He is now available on loan, ideally with an obligation to buy or an option to buy, the German media announces. A subject that greatly interests PSG, the main candidate for a possible arrival of Coman. Better than that, the Bayern management would have already contacted its Parisian counterpart to inform him of its new arrangements. No decision has been made for the moment but only a reflection on the part of the French club. Others in Europe are watching the situation closely.
