A former French international believes that Parisian winger Bradley Barcola has the same style of play as Thierry Henry.

Bradley Barcola is PSG’s man in form this season. He has already scored 7 goals and that is more than during the previous campaign. If Luis Enrique is careful not to compliment him too much for the moment, others will do it for him.

This Tuesday, in the columns of Le Parisien, former French international Olivier Kapo expressed his admiration for the international winger. “He has the speed, the dribbling, the efficiency. And, what’s more, his room for improvement is enormous. After Mbappé, PSG has a very great player there”he confided.

“Barcola has a facility like Thierry Henry”

During his short experience with the Blues (9 caps), Kapo had worked alongside Thierry Henry as a teammate. For him, Barcola resembles the former Gunner in his game. “He has success in front of goal, this ease a bit like Thierry Henry. He can shoot on the ground, in the air. In one on one, he will try to hit the ball. It’s a talent that must be supported.”

Besides Kapo, Sidney Govou, another former international, also praised the former Lyon player. “He has the ability to go that extra step in the Champions League. From now on, opponents will be wary of him. But he is capable of doing great things.”

Paris and all its supporters hope that this will be the case this Tuesday against PSV, while it has been rather discreet during the last outings in C1.
