PSG and Kylian Mbappé met today before the LFP Joint Appeals Committee to try to resolve the dispute concerning the club’s non-payment of salaries and bonuses to its former player. We are still talking about the sum of €55 million. The decision will be rendered on October 25 but the parties took advantage of this hearing to discuss their arguments. PSG complains in particular of being harassed by the star of the France team, also involved in a case of alleged rape in Stockholm by the Swedish press.
To advance its arguments, the capital club mentioned the tweet of the world champion in reaction to this rape case which he ends with a “hearing watch as if by chance», implying that PSG would be in charge to discredit it in the media. According to RMCPSG defenders also showed their audience a video of the attacker in the mixed zone dating from last season where he claims to hold “an agreement made with the President of PSG» and that «whatever the decision, all parties are protected.» These two parties await with confidence the verdict of the joint commission and will defend their interests until the end.
