At 32 years old and after four seasons spent in the Paris Saint-Germain jersey, Danilo Pereira was sold to Al-Ittihad in exchange for €5 million. The Portuguese defender did not particularly want to leave the French capital, but his profile no longer suited Luis Enrique. Having left for Saudi Arabia, the now ex-Parisian did not forget to send a farewell message to the red and blue supporters.

Dear Parisians. I arrived in this wonderful city with a great desire to win and after four seasons I can say that I have achieved this goal. I have met extraordinary people at this club and I must thank them all without exception, as well as the fantastic supporters, for helping me to integrate well. Thank you very much! I have been very happy, but the time has come to close this chapter. Thank you to PSG and maybe see you soon. It has been a pleasure” he posted on his account Instagram.
