While João Neves is heading to Paris, Renato Sanches (26 years old) has already made the journey in the opposite direction. The midfielder put down his suitcases in Lisbon last night. A city he knows very well, since he was born there. He also played for Benfica in the past. After some complicated times, he hopes to get back on track at home, in the form of a loan.

This Thursday, A Bola reveals the details of the operation between Paris and the Portuguese team. Thus, we learn that he is loaned for one season, but that a purchase option of 10 million euros has been included. A Bola also specifies that this is not a paid loan, and that the majority of the midfielder’s salary will be covered by Paris. Benfica will only pay a small part of his salary (around a fifth).
