Kingsley Coman has emerged as a market opportunity for Barcelona as they look for attacking reinforcements this summer.

The Bayern Munich attacker has emerged as a ‘Plan B’ for Barça, should they fail to convince Nico Williams to make the move to Catalonia.

However, Barcelona could be set for fresh competition for Coman as Paris Saint-Germain, too, have joined the race to sign the winger.

PSG contact Coman amid Barcelona interest

According to Sky Sports (h/t Mundo Deportivo), PSG have emerged as the latest club to register interest in Coman this summer.

The French champions, in fact, have emerged as a likely destination for Coman, as they have already contacted the player’s representatives.

PSG have held talks with Bayern Munich as well, exploring the winger’s potential move to the French capital this summer.

It must be noted that Coman was a product of the PSG youth academy, before he eventually joined Juventus, about a decade ago.

Now, the French international could be set for a homecoming, with PSG reportedly discussing a loan deal with an option to buy.

Although no significant progress has been made between the two sides, PSG have emerged as the likely destination for Coman, who was also offered to Barcelona.

Unfortunately, the Catalans have their hands tied for now and are not in a position to sign a new player unless they manage to offload some of their star players.

The Blaugrana are reportedly prepared to offload star midfielder Frenkie de Jong for a fee of just €60 million amid interest from Manchester United.

The likes of Vitor Roque and Raphinha have also been linked with moves elsewhere, so it will be interesting to see if Barça can manage just enough economic provision to compete with PSG in the race to sign Coman this summer.
