PSG facing its black beast

Traveling to the Rock to face AS Monaco, PSG faces the club that is least successful in Ligue 1.

The first leg is almost an anomaly. On November 23, the confrontation between PSG and AS Monaco turned into a performance by the Parisians, who won the Principality club 5-2. A victory which put an end to two years of invincibility for the Monegasques against the Rouge et Bleu.

For ten years and the rise of ASM in Ligue 1, PSG has lost no less than 35 points against Monaco. More than against any elite resident and it’s even worse since 2020 since before this festival last November at the Parc, the Parisians had only gleaned 4 points in 6 matches with a victory, a draw and four defeats.

But this success against PSG is not only recent. After 110 confrontations, Monaco has 48 victories for 27 draws and 35 defeats.
