PSG finally has its real number nine

Vlahovic, Luis Campos’ priority

The name of Dusan Vlahovic, a 24-year-old Serbian striker playing for Juventus, is at the top of the list of options considered. Renowned for his back-to-goal play, his ability to play in small spaces and his precision in front of the cage, Vlahovic embodies the ideal profile sought by the Parisian club. This season, he has scored 7 goals in 16 Serie A matches, but his performances remain marked by an irregularity which raises questions in Italy.

Luis Campos sees in him an immediate and lasting solution to balance the Parisian attack, often too dependent on his wingers. However, attracting the player will not be an easy mission. Under contract with Juventus until 2026 and receiving a salary of 12 million euros net per year, Vlahovic represents a significant investment.

A favorable situation for PSG?

Despite everything, several elements could work in favor of PSG. Vlahovic is going through a delicate period in Italy, notably due to tensions with his coach Thiago Motta and a notable incident during a recent match against Fiorentina, where he was the victim of racist chants. These circumstances could push him to consider a change of scenery this winter.

With an offensive sector in search of renewal, PSG could strike a big blow by recruiting the Serbian striker. His physical power and his sense of goal would bring an additional dimension to the team.
