Over the weekend, we told you that Ademola Lookman is pushing to join Paris Saint-Germain, who have not yet made an offer. Last night, the Italian press mentioned a contractual agreement between the player and the French club. But this file is complex since Atalanta is demanding between 50 and 60 million euros for its player. Questioned on this subject, Gian Piero Gasperini was blunt.

“At the moment I am navigating a bit blindly. Nobody expected to find themselves in this situation. After the Europa League final, I had a lot of plans for the future, but we had to face several difficulties, especially with injuries like Scamacca’s. The club reacted well, bringing in players like Retegui, but I don’t know what will happen in the next two weeks. My job is to build the team in the best possible way and to see with the club what is still possible on the market. We will have a clearer picture on August 31 (…) They are two great players (Lookman and Koopmeiners, courted by Juventus, editor’s note) who have given us so much, I am very grateful to them and I have a sincere relationship with them. The difficulty comes from the fact that the market is absurd in terms of dates. Keeping the market open while matches resume is madness. Nobody likes it, neither the people nor the insiders. Football is entertainment, I don’t understand why you have to do things that people don’t like.” The message has been received…
