This Friday morning, Luis Enrique’s squad met at the PSG Campus (Poissy) for the last collective training session before the reception of Brest at the Parc des Princes, as part of the 4th day of Ligue 1. Only 21 players took part in this morning session. If Presnel Kimpembe, Lucas Hernández, Gonçalo Ramos, Warren Zaïre-Emery and Vitinha were not present due to injury, Gianluigi Donnarumma was expecting a happy event. The 25-year-old goalkeeper became a father for the first time, as confirmed by Paris Saint-Germain on its social networks.

This absence could allow Matvey Safonov to start his first official match with the Paris Saint-Germain jersey. The Russian was Paris’ first recruit this summer. He was bought for 20 million euros from FK Krasnodar, the Russian vice-champion.
