Paris Saint-Germain has entered a new era since the arrival of Luis Enrique at the head of the Parisian team. An era which should take a more significant turn at the end of the season.

Indeed, the very probable departure of Kylian Mbappé to Real Madrid will give a new face to the capital club. A true headliner of the club, the French striker will leave a void in the French capital.

However, Parisian leaders already have an idea in mind. According to the newspaper’s informationTeam, the Ile-de-France management could make Warren Zaire-Emery the new figurehead for its new project. The neo-international would tick all the boxes for the red and blue board.

An imminent contract extension

There is no longer any doubt about it. Warren Zaire-Emery will extend his contract with Paris Saint-Germain in the coming days. If a total agreement has not yet been reached, discussions are progressing and should lead to a positive outcome. Parisian President Nasser al-Khelaifi has made this issue his priority at the start of 2024.

The midfielder is expected to sign a contract until June 2029 with his training club. A strong sign for the club which now wants to give the chance to its best young people in the coming years.

This season, WZE has established itself as a key element of Luis Enrique’s system. The number 33 played 30 matches in all competitions for a total of 3 goals and 6 assists.
