This year 2024 will be one of all challenges for Luis Enrique’s Paris Saint-Germain.
Winner of the Champions Trophy and qualified without a hitch for the round of 16 of the Coupe de France, Paris Saint-Germain is also at the top of Ligue 1. A national roadmap which does not overshadow the prestigious Champions League…
On February 14, Paris will challenge Real Sociedad in the round of 16 first leg of C1. According to Vikash Dhorasoo, the superiority of the French champions on the domestic scene is not beneficial in view of this important deadline. “ PSG can never prepare properly before a Champions League round of 16, with the physical level, the intensity, the aggressiveness that must be put“, warned the 2006 world vice-champion on La Chaîne L’Equipe.
“In other championships, it’s difficult”
Vikash Dhorasoo clarified his point by drawing an analogy with the other major European championships. “ PSG is so far above the Championship… They beat Lens, in a difficult match, because they are far above… In the other championships, it’s difficult, there are big matches more regularly. This allows us to better prepare for the Champions League.“ Luis Enrique and his men are warned.
