PSG, Joao Neves why number 87?

It had been in the pipeline for several players and it is now official. This Monday afternoon, Paris Saint-Germain announced on its official website and social networks the signing of Portuguese midfielder João Neves from Benfica.

The Portuguese international signs in the French capital for the next 5 seasons, for the sum of 60 million euros plus 10 million in bonuses. The midfielder will wear the number 87 next season. A number he has worn since his professional debut, because it was the only number available that he liked when he started at Benfica. The 19-year-old player has finally decided to continue with this number with the Parisian club.
