Paris Saint-Germain could be at the heart of a major swap deal with Juventus Turin this winter. According to several Italian sources, Juve would be very interested in Slovak defender Milan Skriniar, while PSG would welcome the arrival of young Italian midfielder Nicolo Fagioli.

A deal that would suit both clubs

Juventus are looking to strengthen their defense, and Skriniar appears to be their priority. The player would have given the green light for a transfer to Turin, but the high cost of the operation pushes the Turin leaders to consider an exchange with Nicolo Fagioli. The latter, aged 23, is helmed by the pair Khephren Thuram-Manuel Locatelli and could be seduced by a new challenge at PSG.

A transaction still under study

For its part, PSG would seek to reduce its payroll by parting ways with Skriniar. However, the defender prefers a solution with a compulsory purchase option, while Fagioli would not be in favor of a simple loan. Negotiations could therefore include a direct transfer or an exchange with financial adjustments.
