While Paris Saint-Germain is struggling in the Champions League after another defeat against Atlético de Madrid, the winter transfer window is being awaited by everyone with many questions: but what will the Parisian management do during this month of January? Among the European big names, PSG will probably be one of the most scrutinized teams on the market. Indeed, whether in terms of departures or arrivals, the news surrounding the tenants of the Parc des Princes is likely to be hectic. Even recently, rumors around the future of Randal Kolo Muani but especially Milan Škriniar have been going strong for several weeks now. With 201 minutes of play this season in around ten appearances, the Slovak defender’s future still does not seem to be written as a starter. The rise of rookie Willian Pacho blocks the return to business of the former rock of Inter Milan. Škriniar, who will be 30 next February, is increasingly thinking about giving himself a new start far from the Eiffel Tower to find some playing time.

The winter transfer window will therefore probably be very important for the Slovak international (76 caps, 3 goals). For according to the newspaper The Teamdiscussions between its representatives and the club’s management are planned for the end of November. On the side of the player’s clan, however, a departure has not been definitively confirmed. As a reminder, Skriniar arrived free at the club in the French capital, and today has a big salary, estimated at around 9.5 million euros per year. But then, if the departure was confirmed, where could he put his bags? The Italian press, for its part, sees interest from Juventus. Serie A is a destination that the defender knows very well, having played there with Sampdoria and Inter Milan. England, but also Saudi Arabia could also be probable landing points for the player. The Old Lady’s interest is total for Škriniar and the management would be ready to make a second gift from Thiago Motta.

Gonçalo Ramos also in the negotiations?

According to information from several Italian media including Sportmediasetthe Bianconeri are looking for a reinforcement at the forefront of the attack who can play the role of secondary scorer alongside Dušan Vlahović. And in this sense, the Turin management would have the name Gonçalo Ramos very high on the list of their offensive targets. While he did not play much last season with the massive presence of Kylian Mbappé in the rotation, the former Benfica scorer was banking heavily on this season to explode in the Paris Saint-Germain jersey. Unfortunately, the Olhão native suffered a serious ankle injury on the first day of Ligue 1 against Le Havre last August. Since then, the Portuguese international, who does not have much space with Luis Enrique, has been fine-tuning his rehabilitation to make his big comeback in the coming weeks. However, the Spanish coach, who has always spoken in good terms of his attacker, does not want to make too much of this comeback: “A return date? He returns on the 25th, but I don’t know from what month. He’s a player that I adore like any player in my squad. Apparently, it’s the player who will change everything… But the solution never comes from a single player. We have to improve as a team, as a club“. Let’s see how the Portuguese will take this recent media outing from his tactician, especially since Juventus would be ready to make a loan offer with an obligation to purchase from next January.

A siren of a juggernaut from Italy and Europe which should not leave Gonçalo Ramos and his entourage indifferent. The Italian press adds that the Old Lady would like to facilitate negotiations with Paris Saint-Germain by including Milan Škriniar in the transaction. However, nothing proves today that the situation of the two Parisian players are closely linked, quite the contrary. If Milan Škriniar has clearly become over the months an unwanted player due to a downgrade following the arrival of Willian Pacho (and the future returns to come of Presnel Kimpembe and Lucas Hernandez), Gonçalo Ramos was announced as number 9 holder of PSG this season and today displays a leading offensive solution to correct the concerns of efficiency and realism in the last gesture. It was his serious injury that forced the staff of the Capital club to review their plans. However, the installation by Luis Enrique of the famous, much-maligned system of the false number 9 at the forefront of the Parisian attack could nevertheless reduce the cards in the hierarchy when the native of Olhão returns from injury. If this is not the case, the exit door for Juventus would represent a golden opportunity for Gonçalo Ramos.
