Even if the end of the match was stressful, Luis Enrique praised his team for the performance they produced against Lens.

PSG confirmed its resurgence in form on Saturday by taking the three points at stake against Lens. The Ile-de-France residents made the difference thanks to a goal from Ousmane Dembélé at the start of the match. During the rest of the game everything was not perfect, but Luis Enrique said he was satisfied with what his men showed.

“Totally satisfied?” Yes, because we knew it was going to be a difficult match against a very aggressive Lens team. We came out well. We did not materialize certain opportunities. We missed a little serenity. But I’m very happy with my team and I like what I see.”declared the Spanish coach.

Luis Enrique is not demanding

Paris was unable to take cover towards the end but for its coach it was not a problem as long as the face displayed was convincing: “I really like my team, they have the right attitude and we generate a lot of scoring opportunities. We always play with the same energy. This year, I think we are even better than last season. The objective is to keep the ball more than the opponent.”

Before disappearing, Luis Enrique still highlighted a downside: “Today, there were too many transitions at one time and that’s not good. That means the structure is not good for putting pressure on.”
