The Victor Osimhen saga has caused a lot of ink to flow… for nothing? The Nigerian striker was on the way out all summer – without ever finding a buyer – and Paris Saint-Germain were supposedly one of the favorite clubs to welcome him. However, according to L’TeamLuis Enrique never wanted the Napoli striker, because he does not have the characteristics that the Spaniard appreciates in a center forward to play in his system.

With Gonçalo Ramos, Randal Kolo-Muani and Marco Asensio – who the Parisian coach likes to use in a false nine role – PSG did not lack options at the forefront of the attack. The Portuguese’s serious injury had somewhat revived the Victor Osimhen rumor, but the Parisian club quickly cut short. The 25-year-old striker now finds himself in a more than delicate situation, Napoli excluded him from the squad and his last option remains a hasty departure to Saudi Arabia before the end of the Saudi transfer window on September 2.
