Eliminated from the Asian Cup with South Korea at the semi-final stage (defeat to Jordan 2 goals to 0), Kang-In Lee made his return to the French capital. However, he is not yet available to his trainer.

This Friday during the pre-match press conference, Luis Enrique announced that his player was currently on vacation. But the Spanish technician has cast doubt on his presence in the round of 16 first leg of the Champions League this Wednesday against Real Sociedad.

“Lee Kang-in is on vacation until next week. There is a resumption date, you will see him, and he will be fresh, because he will have rested,” he declared to journalists.

A possible presence this Wednesday for the C1?

If Kang-In Lee is indeed on vacation after playing in the Asian Cup, Luis Enrique was still quite evasive at a press conference about his player’s return to the group. Is the Spanish coach trying to cover his tracks before this long-awaited meeting?

This is an option that should not be ruled out. The next few hours will tell us. It is not impossible that the South Korean will make his return sooner than expected. Which would be good news for the capital club which could count on all of its offensive players for the game.
