Luis Enrique’s choice to release Kylian Mbappé on the hour mark against Stade Rennais (1-1) made headlines across Europe. From now on, the Parisian number 7 is clearly no longer untouchable since he announced his future departure to the leaders of Paris Saint-Germain. And according to Christophe Dugarry, if Luis Enrique has this behavior towards the Frenchman, it is because the Spaniard is not really a fan of the Bondynois.

“I think Luis Enrique doesn’t like Kylian Mbappé. He doesn’t like the way he plays and his attitude. Is it because Luis Enrique has an oversized ego and wants to be the star or does he have a certain Spanish vision of football? I do not know. But I think he doesn’t like Kylian Mbappé. Did he hide it well? He does not have a choice. One move he put it to the right, one move to the left, one move to the front. There have always been little sentences”he declared on RMC Sport.
