PSG-AS Saint-Etienne will be played without Marquinhos on Sunday at the Parc des Princes. The Parisian defender and captain complains of a thigh injury.

The trip to Qatar for the Champions Trophy, won against AS Monaco, was not without consequences for the PSG squad. Marquinhos will not play the Parisians’ next match, Sunday evening at home against AS Saint-Etienne, as part of the 17th day of Ligue 1.

Brazilian central defender and captain of the current

ranking leader was injured six days ago in Doha during the victory of Luis Enrique’s men against the Monegasques (1-0). The Spanish coach, who announced the withdrawal on Saturday at a press conference, will also do without striker Ibrahim Mbaye (16), hampered by a sprained left ankle.
