Arriving this summer at Paris Saint-Germain from FK Krasnodar, Russian goalkeeper Matvey Safonov (25) is Gianluigi Donnarumma’s new understudy. If he was able to start with the Ile-de-France club and is adapting slowly, he must at the same time manage a legal case which pits him against his former wife Anastasia following their divorce.

While the hearing was scheduled for this Wednesday, it was finally postponed to November 29 according to RIA Novosti Sport. The player who must currently pay 25% of his income to his former wife to provide for the needs of their daughter – of whom she has custody – believes that the latter spends the money for other purposes. This will therefore be ruled by the Moscow court next month, unless the hearing is further postponed.
