Tension is present at Napoli. While Khvicha Kvaratskhelia’s entourage requested his departure, the Naples club reacted during the night and replied: “in reference to the statements of Kvaratskhelia’s agent, Mamuka Jugeli, and his father Badri, Calcio Napoli reiterates that the player has a contract of three additional years with the club”. All this, while the Georgian is closely followed by Paris Saint-Germain, whose interest had already been confirmed by his agent.

But in an article published on the platform The Players Tribune This Monday afternoon, the 23-year-old winger declared his love for Naples: “Since I was little, my father always speaks of Maradona as a God (…) The fans have something different here. The season we won the Scudetto, people were so happy. A whole city, happy. Everyone, everyone… And me too. I am very, very happy to play for Maradona’s club”. Enough to still sow doubt about his near future… but for now, Kvaratskhelia is focusing on Euro 2024.
