PSG: Nasser Al-Khelaifi’s big pressure on training

Since the start of the Qatari era at PSG, a subject has regularly come up on the table: that of Parisian training. With one of, if not the largest breeding ground, in the world in Île-de-France, the capital club has difficulty relying sustainably on its young central players and rather prefers to recruit players who do not always offer more guarantees than some already at the club. However, the number of very good players trained at the club and not retained (and who exploded elsewhere) can no longer be counted.

But PSG are now looking to correct that. Aware of the inability to launch young people and develop them, the Parisian management had tried to leave more room for the Titis. The case of Warren Zaire-Emery illustrated this well with his desire to quickly trust him and install him in the group then in the Parisian eleven (even if his impressive potential helped him find his place). With the arrival of Luis Enrique, PSG’s “youth” project has experienced a new turning point since the Spanish coach is renowned for trusting them and giving them playing time.

Nasser Al-Khelaifi no longer wants to miss a single talent

This season, Parisian supporters were able to discover players like Yoram Zague, Senny Mayulu and Ethan Mbappé, Kylian’s little brother. The former Barça coach seems to give a lot of credit to the Parisian team. Recently, he notably attended the match between the U19s and Dunkirk (11-0 with a hat-trick from Ethan Mbappé and a double from Mayulu) and this greatly pleases its president Nasser Al-Khelaifi. Indeed, according to information from The Team, the Parisian president believes that this is very important to be able to attract other young people and retain the best elements of the center. Precisely, those responsible for the center must report regularly to NAK on their work and especially their failures.

According to the indiscretions of the French daily, Nasser Al-Khelaifi would not at all have appreciated the fact that a player like Mathys Tel, today at Bayern Munich and considered one of the greatest French talents, escaped PSG then that he played near Montrouge in the 92. The latter was finally spotted by Rennes. An anomaly for the Parisian president who wants to make Paris the number one training club in the country. Nasser Al-Khelaifi also expressed his regret in the Christopher Nkunku case. He believes that everything should have been done to keep him and give him a place of choice in the Parisian squad. The president of PSG therefore seems to want to change his project with the young people at PSG and he can count on the ability of Luis Enrique to hatch nuggets quickly.
