This Saturday evening, Paris Saint-Germain makes its return to Ligue 1. The Rouge et Bleu face FC Nantes at the Parc des Princes as part of the 13th day of the championship.

An opportunity for the Ile-de-France residents to revive after the setback conceded on the pitch of Bayern Munich for the 5th day of the Champions League.

Unless there are any surprises, Marquinhos should start or take part in the match against Nantes. A special match for the Brazilian captain since he could play his 300th match in Parisian colors.

Already holder of the record for appearances with the capital club (457), in all competitions, the Brazilian international is getting closer to a new record – the first being Jean-Marc Pilorget with 371 matches in the league – with the club that he joined in 2013.

Asked last week about his future in Paris, Marquinhos confided that he wanted to stay as long as possible in the City of Lights. “ I’ve been here for 11 years. I hope to stay for another 10 years”he confided to RMC. The message is sent to its leaders.
