A new twist could take place concerning the future of an undesirable member of Paris Saint-Germain.

Lacking playing time at Paris Saint-Germain, Hugo Ekitike was loaned to Eintracht Frankfurt this winter for six months. The objective was to allow him to play one match after another and regain his confidence.

However, the German adventure did not go as planned for the French striker.

Ekitike gone to stay?

In six appearances, he has scored no goals and provided just one assist. Worse still, he often finds himself confined to the substitutes’ bench.

Despite its disappointing performance, Bild reports that Frankfurt management would consider exercising the option to purchase Ekitike, set at 30 million euros according to theAFP.

Either way, Ekitike’s future is uncertain. It is possible that he returns to PSG at the end of his loan, that he stays in Frankfurt or that he signs for another club.
