In recent weeks, we have only been talking about the potential new PSG stadium. While management has decided to abandon its stadium renovation project and has therefore stopped negotiations with the city of Paris, the search for a new site continues. But if some supporters are excited about a near future outside the Parc des Princes, the reality is different.

According to information from ParisianPSG is not likely to move soon since this type of file takes a lot of time. Worse still, we are talking about ten years of work on this stadium. “We have to be clear, everyone is excited about this new stadium, but if they build it in less than ten years, it will be an achievement. It's a very long-term project and we don't have a knife to our throat, we are at the Parc des Princes until 2044 (editor's note: date of the end of the long lease enjoyed by the club). There is no question of making a decision in a hurry. The stakes are too high, we can't afford to make a mistake. There are a lot of steps to take, we are moving forward slowly”confided a person close to the matter. This should calm the ardor a little.
