Paris Saint-Germain is preparing for the future. This winter, the residents of the Parc des Princes welcomed Lucas Beraldo (20 years old). After a sluggish start, the Brazilian is making his mark. He will be joined very soon by Gabriel Moscardo (18 years old), who will treat his injury and finish the season with Corinthians. In search of young talents in South America, the French champions are also looking towards Argentina. Last week, TNT Sports revealed that Franco Mastantuono is very popular with the French team.

But Paris is not alone in this. Real Madrid, who believe they have a good chance of welcoming him, and FC Barcelona, who have financial concerns, are also very interested. Olé also adds Manchester United to the list of suitors. Other clubs are still likely to join the race to sign the 16-year-old star. For the moment, this attacking midfielder is making River Plate happy. A club with which he took his first professional steps this season, supervised by his coach Martin Demichelis.

River Plate wants to avoid another robbery

The latter has already used it 10 times in all competitions, including 3 times as a starter. He also scored a goal, becoming the youngest scorer for his club ahead of a certain Lucas Ocampos. The Argentinian U20 international is therefore successfully completing the stages one after the other. Joining Europe when it comes of age, i.e. in 2025, will surely be one of the following. But River Plate does not want to move too quickly. For this reason, Olé explains that the managers have reached a verbal agreement with the player and his representative to extend his contract until December 2026.

This new lease will be signed this week. This is a way for the Argentine club to protect its back, especially after the loss of Claudio Echeverri this winter. Manchester City have lifted their €25m clause. River Plate, who could have gotten more, learned from their mistakes. For this reason, the Argentine leaders wanted to shield Mastantuono and included a new clause which will therefore increase from €30 to €45 million. It will even be set at €50 million during the last ten days of the transfer window. This is the highest clause in Argentine football according to Olé. PSG and its competitors will have to put their hands in their wallets.
