PSG provide update on Donnarumma and Asensio injuries

The Parisian infirmary is full. After Presnel Kimpembe, Lucas Hernandez and Gonçalos Ramos, Gianluigi Donnarumma and Marco Asensio have also joined it this week. The Italian goalkeeper felt muscle discomfort during the match against Brest last Saturday (3-1), while Marco Asensio went off injured against Girona (1-0) this week in the Champions League.

In a press release published this Friday, the capital club provided an update on its injuries: “Victim of a muscle contracture in the right thigh, Marco Asensio will remain in treatment next week. ⁠Gianluigi Donnarumma continues his treatment. ⁠Presnel Kimpembe continues his performance program. Lucas Hernandez continues his recovery protocol. Gonçalo Ramos continues his rehabilitation”we can read. Barring any unexpected developments, both players should therefore miss the trip to Reims this Saturday (9:00 p.m.). Matvey Safonov will therefore have a new opportunity.
