This Wednesday, Paris Saint-Germain hosts Real Sociedad at the Parc des Princes in the round of 16 of the Champions League. According to the latest news, it seems that the tension has increased a notch in the streets of Ile-de-France.
In order to avoid a clash between supporters of the two clubs identified by the intelligence directorate of the police headquarters (DRPP), the authorities arrested a dozen Parisian supporters “claiming to be ultra-right” near the Forum des Halles before the latter were taken into police custody for “participation in a group with the aim of committing violence or damage”, according to a police source. According to a source close to PSG relayed by The Parisianit would however be “unwelcome ex-supporters at the stadium and not carrying tickets”.
