Achraf Hakimi is eager to rejoin Real Madrid during the summer transfer window of 2025.
A report from the Spanish publication Mundo Deportivo claims that Real Madrid are interested in Achraf Hakimi.
A right-back is needed by the Merengues since Dani Carvajal is becoming older. Additionally, because he is eager to return to the Santiago Bernabeu, the 25-year-old has improved Real Madrid’s chances of signing him.
Achraf Hakimi is known to be one of the world’s top full-backs. Despite spending over fifteen years with Real Madrid, he was unable to make a name for himself in the starting lineup.
Leaving Real Madrid was the right move for Hakimi’s career as Carvajal’s presence would have hindered his development.
The two-year loan at Borussia Dortmund helped the Moroccan international gain prominence.
The 25-year-old then elevated his game during his brief stay with Inter Milan, when he won the 2020–21 Serie A championship. However, PSG made a move for him in July 2021, and over the next three and a half years, he has become even more valuable, with a market value of €65 million.
The former full-back for Real Madrid has played for PSG for more than 100 games so far, contributing 13 goals and 17 assists.
However, it has been said in recent reports that Hakimi wants to go on a new journey. The former team of the player, Real Madrid, have taken notice of this development.
It makes sense that Real Madrid are interested in Hakimi. The La Liga leaders have a top-tier team, but Carvajal is getting too old. The seasoned Spaniard has shown decline in his form in the last few seasons.
The possible exit of Kylian Mbappe from PSG, to Real Madrid most likely, would also play a big factor in Hakimi leaving the French capital and following his close friend to the Spanish capital.
