Gonçalo Ramos and the only Senny Mayulu also found the net against the National team.

The Red and Blue are once again in the round of 16 and will know their future opponent in the coming hours.

Luis Enrique’s men continue their great series of victories at the start of 2024 and are full of confidence before the arrival of the next deadlines. The Rouge et Bleu will face Stade Brestois in their next outing next weekend for the 19th day of Ligue 1.

A PSG not flamboyant but pragmatic

Paris Saint-Germain did not have the best match of its season at the Stade de la Source in Orléans. Luis Enrique fielded a reshuffled team at kick-off. From the start of the match, the Parisians took the upper hand over their opponents thanks to a goal from Kylian Mbappé (1-0, 16th).

Well served in the area by an inspired Randal Kolo Muani this Saturday evening, the number 7 concludes with his right foot into the small net of Owen-Cesaire Matimbou.

Following the opening score in Paris, the Orléans players will free themselves and cause some problems on the counter to the Parisian defense. However, the red and blue rearguard generally contained the attacks of their opponents well.

Paris moves up a gear after returning from the locker room

Slightly shaken at the end of the first period, Paris decided to move up a gear after returning from the locker room. From the hour mark, following a handball from an Orléans defender, Kylian Mbappé doubled the lead from the penalty spot (2-0.63rd).

A few minutes later, the number 7 is perfectly found in depth by Marquinhos before serving Gonçalo Ramos in the area who sends an angry header into the net (3-0.72).

Orléans defender Nicolas Saint-Ruf reduced the score from a corner (3-1, 86th). At the end of the match, young Senny Mayulu scored his first professional goal on a serve from a very altruistic Kylian Mbappé (4-1, 88th).
