It’s now official. Désiré Doué is finally a Paris Saint-Germain player. The former Stade Rennais attacking midfielder has signed with the capital club for the sum of 60 million euros, for the next five seasons.
The French international hopeful who was being tracked by many European teams is one of the most talented players in Ligue 1 and the European circuit. A few minutes after his transfer was made official, the new Parisian was quick to speak out about his new club by sending a beautiful statement.
“It’s a great joy to join Paris Saint-Germain. I feel excitement, but also a lot of happiness and pride. It’s a dream come true today. I can’t wait to discover the Parc des Princes with this jersey on my shoulders and to play in front of this crowd,” he said on the club’s official website. The 19-year-old also launched a “Paris is Magical” on his social networks.
And to add: ” I always had this dream of playing in the biggest competitions, of playing in the biggest clubs and today, being able to play for Paris Saint-Germain is a dream come true.”
