As the international break has begun, Ligue 1 has almost reached its third. And Paris Saint-Germain seems well on its way to retaining its title of French champion, with six points ahead of AS Monaco and nine ahead of Olympique de Marseille.
With nine wins and two draws, the capital club has had an almost perfect run domestically.
“PSG dominates the championship. For me, Luis Enrique’s PSG must set the goal of finishing undefeated in Ligue 1. I think it’s achievable. imagine Romain Beddouk on the airwaves of France Bleu.
PSG undefeated until the end of the season?
And the sports journalist continued: “By finishing the 2024 calendar year undefeated, PSG will be able to embrace this goal of finishing undefeated in 2025. And if every match is taken seriously, PSG has such a margin, that I think no one can beat them.”
As a reminder, no club has ever remained undefeated for an entire season in Ligue 1. During the 1994-1995 financial year, FC Nantes, however, did not come far from this feat. Undefeated for 32 days, Jean-Claude Suaudeau’s Canaries ended up losing to Racing Club de Strasbourg on the 33rd day of Division 1.
