PSG, towards an unprecedented eleven against Real Sociedad

According to initial trends, Luis Enrique should field an eleven never before lined up this season against Real Sociedad, this Tuesday evening in the Champions League.

Winner 2-0 of their round of 16 first leg, Paris Saint-Germain travels to Real Sociedad this Tuesday evening for the return leg. A meeting for which Marquinhos and Danilo, absent against Monaco this weekend, were summoned. It now remains to be seen whether both men – or one of them – will be able to start. This is the big uncertainty of the Parisian eleven.

According to RMC Sport, Marquinhos’ feelings during today’s training were not optimal, even though he trained normally. It is therefore possible that the Brazilian will start on the bench, especially since Danilo did not feel any pain in his right thigh. The Portuguese is therefore expected to start in the center of defense alongside Lucas Hernandez.

Big first for Nuno Mendes

For the first time this season, Nuno Mendes, recovered from his long injury, could start at kick-off on the left of the defense, with Achraf Hakimi on the right, while Gianluigi Donnarumma, in great form, will obviously take his place in order to. In the middle, Warren Zaire-Emery should be accompanied by Vitinha and Fabian Ruiz.

In attack, the Dembélé-Mbappé-Barcola trio is expected. If he suggested in a pre-match press conference that he could once again do without the services of the kid from Bondy, Luis Enrique should, barring any major surprises, line up his starting number 7.

The probable composition of PSG: Donnarumma – Hakimi, Marquinhos or Danilo, Lucas Hernandez, Nuno Mendes – Vitinha, Ruiz, Zaire-Emery – Dembélé, Mbappé, Barcola
