A well-known name in the Parc des Princes has joined a new club.

He left a mixed memory in the French capital. Former Paris Saint-Germain player, Thomas Meunier continues his tour of Europe. After 4 years of experience in Germany, the Belgian international (62 caps) leaves Borussia Dortmund to head for Turkey.

Thomas Meunier will indeed open a new chapter in his career at Trabzonspor. While his contract with the BvB expired next June, the right-back chose to leave the Ruhr club during the season. His objective is clear: to find playing time more in line with his personal aspirations.

New start for this former Parisian

Borussia Dortmund confirmed this operation on Wednesday. “Thomas Meunier settles in Türkiye. Thank you for your commitment and good luck for the future, Thomas”, we can read in an official press release published by the German club. As a reminder, Thomas Meunier left Paris Saint-Germain in the summer of 2020, before the Final 8 in Portugal. He played for 4 years in Paris.
