PSG, what line-up against Real Sociedad?

A final doubt surrounds the composition of the capital club for the clash against Real Sociedad.

Two less have passed since the draw for the knockout stages of the Champions League and PSG has not necessarily progressed as Luis Enrique had then promised. The winter transfer window was not as expected, only Lucas Beraldo having come to strengthen the capital club despite the injury of Milan Skriniar and the relapse of Presnel Kimpembe.

However, the French champions will not display quite the same face as during the group stage. Firstly because of the difficulties displayed by Randal Kolo Muani and Gonçalo Ramos since their signing in Paris and the emergence of Bradley Barcola. The former Lyonnais has won his starting position in the left lane of the Parisian attack, forcing Kylian Mbappé to play at the forefront of the attack while Ousmane Dembélé appears immovable on the right side. The trio should start on Wednesday against Real Sociedad.

A three-way match in the middle

However, there is uncertainty in midfield. Because if Warren Zaire-Emery is indisputable and if Vitinha has found a starting place, there is a three-way match for the third thief. It pits Manuel Ugarte, the only pure recovery player of the three, Fabian Ruiz, in a more relay profile, and Marco Asensio, with a more offensive vocation but who does not shy away from the task. For now, the former Neapolitan leaves with the favor of the forecasts.

The defense should not hold any surprises since Danilo and Marquinhos are expected to start in the central hinge ahead of Gianluigi Donnaruma while Achraf Hakimi, on the right side, and Lucas Hernandez, on the left, should occupy the lanes.
