QNET empowers youths with e-commerce skills

QNET, an e-commerce company specialising in lifestyle and wellness products, has trained over 8,000 Nigerian youths in essential business skills, aiming to support the country’s growing economic opportunities for young entrepreneurs.

Speaking at the company’s product expo in Lagos, QNET’s regional general manager for Sub-Saharan Africa, Biram Fall, announced the company’s plans to expand its operations in Nigeria, citing the country’s rapidly developing business landscape.

“We are committed to empowering individuals through a business model that combines e-commerce and entrepreneurship, providing people with the skills to enhance their lives and achieve financial independence,” Fall said.

QNET’s model allows individuals to sell products, earn commissions, and build sustainable income streams without the need for initial capital or office space.

The global e-commerce and wellness industry, valued at $167.7bn in 2023, is expected to grow to $204.9bn by 2032, presenting significant opportunities for Nigeria’s market, Fall noted.

The Chief Executive Officer of Transblue Limited, Akeem Ajisafe, highlighted the economic potential of QNET’s model in Nigeria. “This initiative empowers Nigerians by providing them with the knowledge and skills to succeed in business,” Ajisafe said.

QNET’s product range, including health items, cosmetics, luxury watches, and jewelry, has been recognized for its ability to generate wealth and increase productivity.

Commander at the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, Mitchell Ofoyeju, praised QNET’s efforts, noting that the company’s programs align with the agency’s goals of promoting youth development and preventing crime.
