R-Truth may be in denial about what The Miz did to him on Raw.
Last night, the team of R-Truth and The Miz seemingly came to an end. Awesome Truth took on the Authors of Pain in a match, on the same night Truth made his first appearance in WWE for nearly two months.
However, during the match, The Miz turned on his partner. He kicked R-Truth in the head before walking out on the match and leaving his partner behind.
R-Truth can’t come to terms with The Miz attacking him
After losing his match, a dazed and confused R-Truth was interviewed by Cathy Kelley in a Twitter exclusive. The former NWA World Heavyweight Champion refused to believe The Miz attacked him on purpose, because he was confused about where his allegiances lay.
“Have you seen The Miz? I’m okay. I think he got confused,” R-Truth proclaimed. “Miz got confused. He thinks I’m still in Judgement Day.”
When Cathy Kelley pointed out that the kick to the face seemed intentional, R-Truth seemed confused, although kept to his story.
“Wait a minute! Are you saying that was done on purpose? Cathy Kelley, don’t you put no blast from me on Miz,” Truth continued. “The Miz did not do that intentionally. He was merely confused on which team I’m on, because I was on the Judgement Day a while back. But I left them, and this is Awesome Truth.”
“I don’t think he did that on purpose. You think so? Did it look like it? I hope he didn’t. I need to find out. I’ll text him. As a matter of fact, I need to go find him, because I don’t think he would do nothing like that. Not me me. Better not have done it on purpose!”
We can likely expect to hear The Miz’s reasons for turning on his partner next week.
